Casper loved by The Valuch Family

We were so blessed to have Casper in our lives for 20years (19/11/1998 – 06/01/2019) – he was in everyway part of the family, our baby. He gave us so much love and affection, our hearts are now sad. We miss him so much.
Walking past our local Pets Paradise, you caught our eye that day – it was fate,
Mum agreed to get you (instead of a Spice Girls lunch box), it was 1998.
We named you Casper after the animated movie that had recently shown on TV,
We had no idea that you would live so long, and how much you would become part of our family.
Later we nicknamed you ‘Chompy’ for all the biting and fighting you’d do,
You were an outside cat, protective and territorial, but a softy to those you knew.
For 20 years you lived, longer than any of us could have guessed,
We hope you knew how special you were, because we were lucky to have you – so blessed.
You were a proud cat, independent and stubborn, but cuddly when you wanted to be,
Our favourite times were when you’d do your cute yowls and snuggle up next to us three.
In your final years you became weary and weak, seeing you like this brought a tear to our eye,
But at least now you’re resting and guarding a new territory, at the Pets Paradise in the sky.
Until we meet again, you will be in our hearts “furever”.
