Rest peacefully, my friend.
Our mate, our guardian, our toad. As our hearts ache for your passing, we hold many warm memories to comfort us.
From your constant attempts to eat the postman through the fence or your battle readiness when the mower started to belly rubs that left you looking like a squished toad, tongue hanging from your mouth and all.
You were there when we turned our house into a home. You were there when our home began to fill with little people.
Little people whose hearts were filled with joy when you played in the yard or created chaos in the house.
You were always welcome at an impromptu tea party and the best fielder by far. You didn’t care what they were playing, you just loved being loved. Camping, BBQ’s and backyard cricket will never be the same without you.
A quiet beer will now be even quieter.
You will be missed.
