Was the most amazing dog. He saved my life once when a guy was going crazy at my place He escaped over to a friend a couple of blocks away
And barked so much she put him in the car and brought him over to see what was wrong
I brought him down from the country, after I picked him up from the side of the road –
He was used to roaming – he was starving.
He used to wander to the Vet’s miles away and sit at their door –
Smiling until they let him in, and called me.
We followed him once and he went up and crossed the road at the lights.
Had to build a fence. He used to visit the people at the old people’s home.
One day I took him into the pet shop and a woman bent down,
Kissed him on the lips and said if he was a man she would marry him.
A guy offered my partner $300 for him then upped it to $500
Cause he wanted him for his son.
That dog was really good to me
I had a motorbike accident and he stayed with me through all the pain.
I miss him heaps.
A firefly came the other night, flew round the room like a beautiful star,
Know it was him saying goodbye.
Hope he is in a better place and out of pain.
