Manny loved by The Biddulph Family
Passed January 14th, 2019
Manuel, formally known as Manny, is our beloved Cocker Spaniel cross Labretriever. He was the definition of cheeky, whether it be opening the door and running inside or stealing the freshly cut ham off the table from Christmas celebrations, he never failed to make you laugh. Although he looked innocent and cuddly, we can all vouch for the numerous holes in the screen door, broken belongings on the lawn and the tumbleweeds of black hair were all from his doings. To us he was more than a pet, but a person. He received a piece of toast (with butter) every morning and always reminded us when we forgot, he was let inside nearly every day although claiming he was an outside dog. Manny taught us all the meaning of gratitude, love and exhaustion through his continuous barking, chewing of things that were not his or stealing our nightly dinner, yet he was always forgiven when he used those big brown eyes. The ‘Manny side-eye’ is a trait in our family that has become more common over the years, this is the action of his eyes following you everywhere or him giving a side eye whenever your actions didn’t suit his attitude. He was the sassiest of all boys and the 8 and a half years we had with him will never, ever be forgotten. |
