Oscar, our dearest darling boy.
You will never know how much we miss you but I am sure, you knew how much you were loved.
My biggest regret is that we didn’t rescue you earlier and I wish that we had had more time.
Home is not the same and you have left a huge hole in our hearts. We miss your smile, your snoring, your curls, your talking, your barking, your nagging.
I can’t wash your blanket because it smells like you and I have been wearing your favourite ‘jimmy-jams’ to school as a scarf.
The neighbours have been asking where you are and all the drunk girls have no one to pat. How will we be happy without a dose of Occy and his wagging tail – “look at his tail, he is so happy”.
Aunty Jess is busy making you famous. Go to rest now our beautiful boy – we will love you forever.
