You were brave until your last breath Tui, with the purest of hearts.
Words can’t express the sadness we feel at how quickly your lymphoma took hold between Jan and Apr, and the loss that we feel now.
You were the runt of the litter, you busted your way into our lives full of beans,
gave your older brother Konrad lots of grief with your adolescent exuberance.
You loved camping, bushwalking, and chasing wallabies that you could never catch.
Now at least you are no longer in pain, or exhausted from your fight.
And you are back with your brother, who you loved and missed so much when he left us 18 months ago.
RIP now, sweet Tui.
You will be in the hearts of anyone who knew you, forevermore.
Especially ours. xx
